What Do You Want to Include?

Before the project can progress out of Phase 1, an OUTLINE of all content that is to be included in the site MUST be completed. Development of the actual content will continue through the site structure and design phases, but the importance of having a clear, detailed outline at this point cannot be overstated.

After you have your completed outline in hand, you might consider creating a content delivery plan<:

Who will be responsible for each piece of content? For its initial development? For its maintenance?
Where will the content come from? Will it be new, repurposed, both?
How often will the content change?
Assign dates by which each piece of content is to be completed.

A content delivery plan is more than likely unnecessary if you are making a course website or a site that you are the sole contributor. The following plan is for a large website with many contributors.
