How will we keep our site up to date?
Site maintenance often involves three steps:- Recognizing a change needs to be made
For instance, a staff member has left, an event has passed, etc. - Writing the actual change
- Updating the website
It's important to determine early on who will be responsible for each of these steps for all the content on your site. You might determine that one person could do all of these things, or that it would require two or more people. Identify these people as soon as possible, as their level of skill and available time might affect decisions made later with regard to the technologies you choose to use and how often your content can reasonably change.
The Content Delivery Plan can be easily modified to a Content Maintenance Plan.
