The Custom Animation task pane appears on the right.
- Highlight the text you want to animate, or click on an object to select it. The Add Effect drop-down menu becomes active.
- Click on the Add Effect drop-down menu, and choose Entrance, Emphasis, or Exit.
- Select an effect.
- Click Play beneath the effects list to preview it.
- Click and drag an effect to another position.
- Select the effect in the list.
- Click the drop-down arrow that appears.
- Select Remove.
Try it! Create a slide with several text bullets and experiment with different animation options. Insert a piece of clip art, and animate it using a motion path.
