You've probably seen catchy ads about how much mobile phones can do. But can you also find ways to use them for teaching and learning? Absolutely! Mobile phones are now, essentially, portable computers. In addition to the usual phone functions, many can also capture and record audio, video, still images and physical locations and even facilitate interactions via the Internet. Although you probably don't want to encourage your class to use them during a lecture, how using them to collect data or create content for an assignment? This Buzz session will present ways museums and universities are making use of these pocket-sized wonders to facilitate mobile learning.
