« Back to list

Northeastern's fourth annual Teaching with Technology mini-conference will be held on Tuesday, April 29, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. beginning in the Curry Center Ballroom!

Our keynote speaker will be Katie Salen, well-known game designer and Director of Graduate Studies in Design and Technology, Parsons School of Design. With Eric Zimmerman, Ms. Salen is the coauthor of Rules of Play (MIT Press, 2003) and coeditor of The Game Design Reader (MIT Press, 2005). She is also a recipient of a McArthur Foundation grant on exploring how technology is changing kids and learning.

You can download and listen to (or watch) the keynote from iTunesU: and Northeastern's YouTube Channel

Teaching with Technology Day is sponsored by The EdTech Center, The Center for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CIETL), Information Services, SPCS and University Libraries. Join us to hear how fellow Northeastern faculty are using technology in their courses. Attend interactive breakout sessions on a range of technology related to effective teaching strategies. Plan to spend the day and enjoy refreshments, a light lunch, and a chance to win an iPod Nano!
